At 17yrs old, at a youth weekend (of which I nearly got sent home from!) God spoke to my heart and told me He loved me. Well, I ran, literally, into some woods. There I realised I couldn't run from God, so at the foot of a tree, I knelt and asked God to forgive me for my sin, and asked Jesus to come into my life and be my King. I was filled with real joy and ran back to tell all my friends (who thought I'd lost it!).

Shortly after, I went to college, but kept living the way I always had, drinking, smoking, girlfriends, deejaying with friends, more girlfriends, basically holding God at arms length and living for myself. It wasn't till I had been told to leave college and had started working at a supermarket as a produce assistant, that God spoke to me again, saying that I couldn't live half for God, it was ALL or nothing.

I chose ALL, and gave myself 100% to God, and re-committed myself and my life to Jesus Christ. I gave up everything that I knew was wrong, as I knew it had all been for the wrong motive.

Over the years of being a Christian, God has never stopped loving me, however many times I have failed Him and let Him down. God has given me a wonderful wife and children and has truly blessed me.
