Hi there. I’m Steve Hodgson and present the Drive Time, Ministry Hour and Sports shows.

A local Dewsbury man brought up in Westborough now living at Mirfield. My early working life was centred around the motor industry, hello hello, before joining the Police Service in 1981 and it is still my present career.

Married in 1980 to my childhood sweetheart Barbara. We have two great daughters Kay and Abigail, both now grown up.

I was involved with the local Church in my late teens through my links with the Scout Movement and made a commitment to the Lord at a Billy Graham meeting at Sheffield in 1986 and have been part of Dewsbury Gospel Church for some years now.

I started links with local radio at Dewsbury Hospital helping out with their programmes and making tea until a group of us put together a 2 hour Sunday morning show. That was the birth of Branch FM and here we are years later still learning the trade through local Community Radio in Dewsbury.
