Breakfast Christmas message
Jason Ramsey

We’ve been on air for a couple of months now, and it is amazing to think that I am still getting up early. As the mornings get darker and colder it becomes increasingly hard to tear yourself out of bed, but I do, why?

Well its not the job, the technology or the music. It is you guys. Those people to listen to me morning by morning as we get through a breakfast show together. Covering the news, weather, traffic, and trying to make sense of issue we all struggle with on a day to day basis. To many breakfast shows out there aren’t human, we are painfully human sometimes. Realising that we’re all here for one purpose to serve the living god, and trying to do it with a smile on our faces.

I know of families who do Breakfast with Ramsey “literally” while I know single men and women who enjoy waking up with Ramsey. Apparently, according to some parents, putting on the breakfast show is the only thing that will get their kids out of bed. I am so grateful for those who are willing to give me the feedback on the past few months. I do hope that we will have an even better time together in 2008.

My final breakfast show for the New Year and Christmas break is the 21st December. I head home on the 24th. I will be back for New Year’s Day. So let’s welcome in the New Year together on breakfast on 101.8 Branch FM.

So all that is left to say is thanks for the memories of 2007. Have a very merry Christmas. And lets not forget the reason for the season (to be cheesy) in my opinion, Jesus Christ is the answer- he has been for me.

Merry Christmas
