They let me out these days eh? Goodness me, doing my job one would not believe such a thing as Holidays should happen. But nonetheless the wonderful people here at Branch FM have allowed me to go away on Holiday this Christmas and new year period.
My final show on Breakfast is going to be on Friday 21st December. I leave Dewsbury to head back to the north east on Christmas eve. I'll get my MP3 playing out and play the song "driving home for Christmas" because it is so true. My image of that is driving home in the dark on Christmas eve. Well it'll be dark and it'll be Christmas eve when I go to Darlington for an old friend funeral with Abi. And then I shall be taken home by my Mum and Dad and then it'll be light, but it'll still be Christmas eve and we'll be driving home for Christmas. Ok, so I am wierd.
I return on New years eve, I shall join the parties on new years eve and then somehow manage to crawl into work the next morning to bring in the first new year on Branch FM. Ok admittedly, I am not sure anyone will actually be awake at 7am on a Bank Holiday. But nonetheless I will be here anyway.
I hope you have a wonderful new year period and may God bless you greatly at this time.
Thanks
